Scott was up all game, held Mason scoreless in 1st, wasnt last second shot.

 

If I recall, Mason hit two free throws with 5 or 6 seconds to go to tie the score. Scott Co. threw the ball the length of the court and was tipped out of bounds by Mason. Scott won on an out of bounds play under their own basket. That was the only game I saw Mason frosh play last year and remember it well.

It wouldn't be a game this year even if they did play, Scott Freshman are in the middle of a four game losing skid, I was referring to the Varisty Game that is scheduled every year between Mason and Scott.

Mason County freshman team is in action this Thursday and Friday in the Covington Catholic at Sports Of all Sorts. The Royals open action up against CovCath and play St. X to finish out pool play on Thursday. Good Luck Royals.

I watched Mason Co. play in this tournament. I was impressed with #4, #14 and #32. The team played well and were well coached.

Lex Cath has a couple of good players on their freshman team. Their current 8th grade group has more depth and is a better overall group IMO. The Lex Cath 8th graders beat Mason County 8th graders handily recently. Their group has alot of growing to do physically and should compliment the current freshman group very well. Lex Cath will continue to do well in the years to come.

I know this is off topic but how good will Lex Cath varsity be next year ??
