Mason freshman advance to region finals against Campbell Co. with a win over Deming 47 to 36. Treg Setty led the Royals with 18, Jordan Gilbert chipped in 13. The Royals (19-1) play in the finals Thursday night at 7pm.

Probally Caldwell,If so then basically our freshman beat Demings varsity not bad guys.

Bottom line, the grade cutoff used to be Sept 1st or October 1st, and in my opinion, that is getting stretched back more and more, which gives an advantage. I've seen it at the middle school level and it's the same in high school in physical development and maturity.

Great job! As has been stated before, the cupboard isn't exactly bare in Mason County after the current class graduates.
