Everyone knows it just doesnt happen this way, just look at last years 10th region tourney. That is why kids lace up the sneakers and compete. Good luck to all teams involved.

Any truth to the rumor that Deming has moved the King twins down for the Freshman Regional Tourney? Could be an interesting game with Mason if that is the case:rolleyes:

That is no rumor, that is the gospel. Mason will have its hands full come Wednesday night.

Cory Rogers is also a Freshman that starts for GRC. We have 3 more Freshman that dress and play varsity.

 

I believe that Mason Co will win this tourney....but I belive that GRC has the best Freshman class of players.

I know that 2 more Freshman was moved up to the JV a couple of weeks ago. Not sure if they will play in the tourney or not.

I am kind of suprised that Deming has moved the twins down to play in the Freshman tourny. I would think that with them being such an integral part of the varsity black devils that they wouldn't take a chance on them getting hurt. Deming has the chance to actually compete for a district title for the first time in quite a while with their win over Harrison earlier in the season. Don't be stupid folks, compete for the one that really counts!

 

An interesting side note. I recently heard that the twins were going to play on an all star team this Summer with Setty, Pawsat and Gilbert from Mason Co. and 2 kids from Lexington. This should be quite a team and a fun one to watch.

This will be a great team to watch from what I hear also. The Mason and Lexington kids will also be joined with Trevan Brown the power forward from Boone's freshman team, and another big kid from NCC.

I'm not bitter and I personally did not say any of Mason's Kids were 16. I think it's wrong to hold a kid back in school for athletic reasons. If they struggle academically it's different. And if they struggle academically, they should spend more time getting knowledge. School sports is a privilege and it should be earned by doing what you're in school for first. If you can't maintain your grade level academically, you should not be able to maintain full athletic eligibility, whether it's the parents choice or not. But not everyone thinks that way. Didn't mean to strike a nerve.

 

Way too much emphasis on academics and not enough on athletics. You need to get your proprieties straight. If you're so academically inclined ,why in the world are you on this site .This site was not formed for intelligent people ,just formed for me and other jock's like me.
