December 9, 200718 yr News flash. The inside is already open because they have no threat other than Patterson... Then we don't need post players if the post is open. It's funny to me we had all kinds of open looks today, just couldn't knock them down. With shooters in there it's a totally different game....
December 9, 200718 yr Indiana gave it to UK in every big stat tonight. Field goal percent - UK .388 - Indiana - .468 Three points percent - UK - .250 - Indiana - .444 Free throw percent - UK - .562 - Indiana - .688 Rebounds - UK - 26 - Indiana - 33 Turnovers - UK - 19 - Indiana - 15
December 9, 200718 yr Work the ball inside then outside. If you haven't heard that how you win. It doesn't work the other way around.
December 9, 200718 yr Work the ball inside then outside. If you haven't heard that how you win. It doesn't work the other way around. Thanks Coach.
December 9, 200718 yr Thanks Coach. Your welcome. If you haven't seen that inside is our biggest problem then I don't know what to say.:thumb:
December 9, 200718 yr Might as well go ahead and steal 98's fun... Jordan's Better... That was funny when IU fans starting chanting it. HILARIOUS. You might guess that I am not a Joe Crawford fan.
December 9, 200718 yr Your welcome. If you haven't seen that inside is our biggest problem then I don't know what to say.:thumb: Looked to me like Patterson had a pretty good game today. I wouldn't consider that much of a problem. What did we shoot from the outside again?
December 9, 200718 yr AT least those guys that practice so great are doing their part. I mean, come on, Porter missed a lay up with nodody on him. Porter and Courey are turnovers waiting to happen. Its time to play Stewart more. Maybe try one of the 7 footers. Give Williams a look. Beg Legion back and start him the rest of his career.
December 9, 200718 yr Just too bad they don't play in the post... Good point............unless UK gets some help for Patterson inside, teams like IU will continue to push them wherever they want them to go in the paint. It looked like men against boys inside today.
December 9, 200718 yr The most important position on the floor at any level is point guard. KY has struggled there since Rondo mutinied against Tubby's system. Great teams have great leaders at that position. UK has suffered by not having that at PG for the past 4-5 years.
December 9, 200718 yr We just need players. Somebody should have told Tubby that offense is just as much a part of the game as defense. Agreed. Someone might have mentined to him that its easier to win with good players too.
December 9, 200718 yr Just too bad they don't play in the post... As much as many have lamented the lack of post players, I began to think of some other things that are factors and I had a few discussions about the point guard spot. The guard play on this team is atrocious. Sure they are missing Jasper and Meeks, but our present backcourt is seriously flawed. With the exception of Rondo, this program has not had a bonafide PG since Wayne Turner. Right now this team is a wreck. Difficult to watch. I was darn close to grabbing a cup of hot chocolate and throwing Polar Express in. Tough to watch. Making backdoor cuts and blowing bunny after bunny. Burn the tape and move on.
