I hate to do this but... GO STEELERS!!!

I think the Pats get them by 2 TD's though.

I think the Steelers have a shot if they put pressure on Brady that the O-line can't account for. Difficult task at best. Brady doesn't rattle and stands in there til the last second. Have to double Moss. Offensively the Steelers have to run the football and Slick Willie and the O line will have to be much better than past weeks.

I'd feel better if we hadn't had an idiotic DB go ahead and "guarantee" victory. He must be trying to follow in the footsteps of Joey Porter and Lee Flowers before him.

The Steelers Pass D ranks #1. The way the NFL works, the Pats will almost lose to the Eagles and Ravens and then win comfortably against a team that could legitimately beat them. Hope my wrong, just got that feeling.

I think it's at least encouraging for the Steelers' chances that Holmes, Davenport, Marvel Smith and Polamalu are all healthy and expect to play big minutes.

Go Steelers!

Beyond the Indy matchup, this is the game I thought gave NE the biggest chance for a loss. I hope not.

He is as cool as they get in the pocket. He's been pressured, knocked down and sacked more in the last two weeks than he had been all season, and yet his demeanor never changes. He always stands in there just like he's as comfortable as I am on my couch watching the game...

My honest opinion is that you cannot rattle Brady. You can pressure him and force him to be a little off, which is no different than any other QB, but when it comes to him actually getting rattled, I just don't see it ever happen. Some guys, even Peyton Manning I think, you can hit and knock around and pressure and they'll get rattled to the point where they'll let it affect them on a play that they should be able to make. I don't think that happens with Brady.

I think the Steelers have the type of team that could beat New England...a great defense that can pressure the QB, and they have creative blitz schemes that can confuse and give the defense an extra second or two to get to Brady before he sees where the open man is. You have to be able to do that from a defensive standpoint to beat them, IMO, and Pittsburgh can.

Offensively, they have a strong, physical o-line with a good RB...and Parker has breakaway speed which doesn't hurt. It means Pittsburgh could turn a 15-20 yard run into a TD...plays like that can help out tremendously when trying to pull an upset. Big Ben is playing great this year. His ability to avoid sacks with his strength and athleticism is a big plus against the Pats...he can make plays with his legs to keep the chains moving and buy time for his receivers to get open.

The downside is that Pitt hasn't played nearly as well on the road. Also, I think the Patriots will probably be far more amped for this game, against possibly the second best team in football, than they were against Philly and Baltimore the past two weeks. It's just impossible for teams to go through a 16 game season and be on their A-game every week, against sub-.500 competition. I think the Pats have lost their edge a little, and the teams they're playing have let it all hang out and it's resulted in two close calls. I expect them to be more focused and sharp this week.

I think the Steelers have a realistic chance to win. I just don't think they will.

My official prediction...

Pats 31

Steelers 20

Let's breakdown the matchup:

QB: Pats

RB: Steelers

OL: Pats

WR: Pats

TE: Even

DL: Even

LB: Steelers

DB: Steelers

ST: Pats

Tom Terrific doesn't let the Pats lose....

NE-28

PIT-21

I hate to do this but... GO STEELERS!!!

Come on now OR, you can't possibly be a Bengals fan and hate the Pats more than Pittsburgh. :D

Kind of how I see it as well.

I agree. Did you see that play against the Eagles where they chased him ten yards backwards and he fired a completely accurate pass to Gaffney for the first down, though it was dropped? I've been as big of a Brady critic as anyone the last few seasons, but for him to have the moxie to find, and accurately pass to, an open receiver while backpedaling away from two guys in his face was most impressive to me.

When will you all learn.....Brady is the best in the game right now, and before all is said and done, may just be the best ever.

Get the gator ready Brady may have to be carted off make that 2 I forgot about Moss.
