Pats vs Steelers thoughts.

Featured Replies

Both teams can't lose so for one week and one week only I'll be a Steelers fan.

Theres a reason no one has had an undefeated season in over 30 years. History will catch up with the Pats this week. The Steelers should be able to get a lot of pressure on Brady from the D line. They'll smack Brady in the mouth a few times and this one will be over.

Steelers - 21

Pats - 17

The Pats have the best O-line in football. They may get to Brady, but it won't be very often IMO. The last two weeks should also show that Brady stays calm even when under pressure and doesn't ever get rattled.

The Steelers would have a shot at home but not on the road. A team as bad as Cincy had all types of chances to win against Pittsburgh, given the same chance NE won't be denied.

I'm just impressed by his cool and calm no matter the circumstances. You never see him get happy feet. The way he plays doesn't change whether he's throwing for 5 TD's and never getting touched, or whether he's getting pressured and knocked on his back and struggling to throw one TD. No other QB, IMO, can match him in that area and that is the single biggest thing that separates him from the rest. That's why I give him the edge over Manning...I think Manning can sometimes get rattled when things don't go his way.

His passer rating is in the 60's when he's under pressure.

Cant remember them exactly so I wont try to quote them but his numbers on the final drive Monday were terrible. Mainly because the Ravens were all over him.

Hands down Brady is the best with the game on the line, so yes he is amazing under that kind of pressure. However, under a heavy pressure from the defense, he is very average.
