March 10, 200818 yr The KBA 12u AAU state tournament is now posted, but you have to look under the 11u tournament post to find it (tricky). I don't think it is quite finish on the D1 tournament. Some of the times don't work out. But, the D2 looks good.
March 11, 200818 yr Good Luck on the trip to D1. The key for your team will be controlling the post players of the other teams. As for the NKY teams. You summed it up for the Wolfpack, it all comes down to that team playing it's games one by one. NKY Wildcats - They are a little undersized but are a strong perimeter threat. NKY Wolfpack (Wendling) - This team probably has the best D2 post player in the tournament. He hasn't played the last 2 weekends because of injury. This team just has no guard play at all. Get to the Rim - Very similar to the NKY Wildcats. They have one big man who is a good player, he just isn't on the floor enough for them to win when it's necessary. NKY Rockets - This could be the sleeper team of NKY. They are decent sized and have a very good forward who's tough to stop. All in all, I'm excited about a great tournament coming up next weekend. What about the NOrthern KY. Magic? You know anything on them?

Good think that Boone's season ended early so these boys can focus on AAU.

The teams in pool 6 and 7 will all automotically qualify for the bracket. I would think the brackets will be out today or tomorrow.

I only saw him play 1 weekend with them. I think the other 2 guards actually are more important to that team and how well their bigs are playing. So I think the Wolfpack is the odds on favorite for winning the D2 state.

I saw them play at a BCI tournament earlier and he was by far the best Wolfpak player on the floor. He appeared to be an impact player.

That was probably the only tournament he played in with them. He is good, I don't necessarily know if he's the best player they've had. He makes them probably D1 without a doubt. For some reason, he doesn't and hasn't played very much AAU basketball. From my understanding, they won 99% of their games without him and he played in maybe 5 games this year.
March 12, 200818 yr McNeil is a very unorthadox type player. He is outstanding and gets the job done, but it's not always pretty. Alot of double clutch shots from funny angles with funny spin. He is an excellent shooter. I love to watch him play, I think he is a great player but the Wolfpack will be fine without him. I agree, they have 2 outstanding guards anyway, they are the team to beat. Good luck to everyone.
