In D2, the NKY Wolfpack have to be the favorite. They have 3 strong guards in Geiman, Moeves and McNeil and some good bigs. They are also well coached.

There will be both tournaments, 5 teams currently registered in DI. I know the Legends, Tarheels, Warriors, and Fleming County have registered DI.

Are the Louisville Suns going D1? Are they the 5th team?

Portwood as a 6th grader is definitely a stud. However, Hatton is as well. Portwood is the best post player. Hatton is the best guard.

The Suns played at Mid America a couple of weeks ago and were blown out by the Gators?? and an Indianapolis team. Both of these teams were beaten by 20+ by the NKY Wolfpack and Louisville Legends respectively. Unless they've added since mid February they won't make an impact.

Dalton will be playing with the Clinton County(Albany Bulldogs) 6th grade, approved by the AAU tournament director. I hope we will be a factor, we just haven't played any as a group since the middle school state. We are going to scrimage the 8th grade a couple of times this week, that will help a little. I still think the NKY Wolfpack is the team to beat. I know almost all of the teams and there are 6-8 teams capable of winning it if they can get by the Wolfpack.

I like the Albany Bulldogs as my sleeper. They always played the Somerset Future (team from the last 3 years) competitive.
