Beechwood just has way too much talent this year, and they are finally playing like they could before. Good luck Beechwood and lets bring three trophies back up north.

Beechwood: 42

LCA:21 (maybe 14 couldn't decide :D)

Thanks to Bluto for the info on LCA's record. After seeing LCA play at Loyd and now being aware of what they have done this year elseware, I am convinced their fate is sealed. I don't believe they have played a team yet that is anyware close to having the talent of Beechwood. They allowed almost 50 points to Corbin, Breathitt & Hazard. Granted they came back and defeated Hazard, but in the scope of things "It is what It is", their D can not deal with a team that has any kind of above average offense. Now they have to take on the best offense they have ever seen and the best D they have ever seen. On top of that, Beechwood is peaking and our team focused and angry about what transpired the last time we met. Those chants by LCA's fans and team members of "Over Rated - Over Rated" will come back to haunt them. It's just more fuel for the fire !

I look for the game to be semi-close until mid-2nd quarter. Then as LCA's D will collapse. Their bodies will be hurting from harder hitting than they have experienced to date, their minds will be racing because they they won't know where we will will hit them next, they will be confused and dazed by all of the weapons Beechwood has. By mid-3rd quarter their spirit will be broken and Beechwood will cruise to another State Title.

Go Big Red !!!!

I don't know about using the Lloyd games for decision-making.

Didn't LCA score the first 30 something points of the game versus Lloyd? And then somebody (maybe the QB) got hurt?

And didn't Beechwood kind of bore us with the 20-0 win over Lloyd that was 10-0 forever?

I'd instead point to Beechwood coming back and beating Dixie, or coming back from the dead against NewCath to make it a game, or beating Prestonburg on the road, or routing Dayton and Frankfort as their signature games.

As for LCA I'd sight the turnarounds against Hazard, and hope the somewhat inconsistancy shown throughout the year does not come back in the title game.

I mentioned the Lloyed game because it was the only time I have seen LCA play this year. Not to base anything on other than getting a feel for them.

I have no idea what all the arguing is about I can tell you who is going to win. It's going to be Beechwood. Here is why:

They have won like 8 or 9 already, they'll play like they've been there before.

They are really, really, good.

They are from Northern Kentucky. Your potential of winning a state title increases if you are from Louisville or Northern Kentucky(Boone, Kenton, and Campbell Counties).

Because I picked them to win. Isn't that a good enough reason?

I like the last reason:lol: The tigers have the size on the line and 2 great backs in Bankamper and Tiepel to run it down LCA's throat, not to mention an extremely fast QB in Elliott who can hurt you running just as much as passing. Im not sure about this but i thought i saw Amelung getting a few carries in the Frankfort game. So if the tigers get in wishbone again and hand it off to Bankamper, Tiepel, Amelung, or even Davis, and even qb sneak with Elliott, the tigers should control this game. I cant imagine LCA having a line near the size that of Beechwoods. Tigers roll in this game, expect to see 75-90% of the plays runs.

Beechwood- 38

LCA- 13

Yes it is...all about the grind it out weather, hope there is a little snow mixed in...should add to the game.:fight::fight:

I know (It's old age)

Isn't that the excuse for us all;)

Back to Luuville, the birthplace of Cassius Clay, the man who called himself “the greatest”.

“Just give ME the d@mn ball” is Keyshawn Johnson’s immortal words.

Some fans can’t get enough pride, have you seen Jerry Jone’s face lately?

Watching Stever Spurrier can make you break out in a rash.

The reason some like to TALK about the championship is because they can’t watch themselves play.

In the words of Abraham Lincoln, “What kills a skunk is the publicity it gives itself”.

Humility can be reclusive & shy, please accept an apology on behalf of the BW fan base who may have appeared overbearing & self confident. If fools wore crowns, we’d all be kings. We could all use to wash out our ego once in a while because pride brings its own sting. Please forgive any of us who may have stepped over the line.

Question: Does Bluto (All American) get to sing the National Anthem just because?

Beechwood

I think this game will be much tougher than people think. I think LCA takes it to Beechwood for 3 2/3 quarters and the Tigers come back and win on the last drive of the game.

I am still sick, shoulda wooda coulda but, didnt. Go LCA to the STATE 1A CHAMPS>

So am I H.C.T. but the bottom line is as you said, we (Raceland) didn't. Good luck to LCA, I hope they win it all.

Question: Does Bluto (All American) get to sing the National Anthem just because?
