A lot of scuttlebutt that he was talking trash on WVU message boards after game last night.

many Cards fans were upset along with telling Kyle Draper the 50/50 stuff.

This is a good thing.

I don't believe Cassity was inept, but it would be good to get a face change in this area.

Seems to me that Jeff would go with Brian to the NFL. Package Deal.... Jeff could serve as assistant QB coach. He has the experience and knowledge.

Rocco's ID on scout half-identifies himself, and he answers to his name (used by the site admins.) No one on there has to 'identify him.'

I am quite sure that with Jeff his immediate desire is with the University of Louisville....which hopefully will keep Brady around until he is at Trinity.

I'm sure Jeff has no desire to be forever tied to his baby brother.

These changes are a big step in the right direction. I'm very pleased that Kragthorpe didn't just get rid of the Petrino holdovers and keep his own guys (which was something I had been concerned might happen). Stubbs was clearly not the right guy to get the job done. The Cards offense came nowhere near living up to its lofty potential and I don't know where you can lay blame other than at the feet of the OC. I find it very interesting (if true), the rumors that Jeff called the offense in the 2nd half of the Rutgers game. Completely different team and (gasp!) a running game to boot! As Eric Crawford brilliantly pointed out this morning, Jeff played for Howard Schnellenberger, Ralph Friedgen, Bobby Ross, Bill Walsh, Steve Mariucci and Mike Shanahan and coached under Bobby Petrino. It would be hard to imagine someone more qualified to run the offense! Hopefully, they will find a defensive coordinator who can instill some fire and fundamentals in the squad going into next season.

 

Thank goodness the team at least finished the season on a winning note.

Mostly I hope for a DC who encourages the line to shoot the gaps. A little pressure can be a world of difference in the Louisville Defense.

Jeff Brohm will bring the fire back into the offense it didn't have. It will be like Petrino's with a balanced attack of running and passing. THe usual different formations and keep the defense's guessing the whole game. Great guy to be coaching an offense that will return some pretty potent weapons. We'll be fine next year and the offense will once again be rolling on all cylinders. Powell could have a hell of a year next year with Brohm calling the plays.

Who coaches the DBs? That guy should be a little nervous when the new DC is brought on.
