In its own second tier way, the WAC is actually a pretty tough conference, top to bottom. Hawaii has beaten everybody placed in front of them. They have beaten head-up just as many good teams as Ohio St. has, and it appears OSU will be in the title game. They have a record-setting Heisman candidate. And perhaps penultimately, all of the other teams who have had their shot at the title have blown it, thrown it away. Its not a question of other teams DESERVING it more, its that the othe teams DON'T deserve it more than Hawaii. If this was about putting the two best teams in the title game, then I'm right there with all the Hawaii naysayers (who should be appalled that OSU is gonna get there, too). But this is not about the two best teams, its about THIS season and the BCS, and this year Hawaii deserves a crack at the title.

Hawaii has beaten just as many good teams as Ohio State has. State your case. Now I am a big Ohio State fan and I do like Hawaii too but they didn't play a team like Illinois, Michigan, or Wisconsin. Hawaii did beat a very good Boise State team and a pretty solid Washington team. As for the question, I think it would be great. They are the only team to go 12-0 this year. Maybe not against all that great of a schedule but they didn't lose a single game. I hope if they don't go to the NC then they get a good BCS bowl.

Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin are THREE teams Ohio State had to play. Those three are all better than Boise State IMO. Boise State lost to the same Washington team that Ohio State gave it to in Washington.

If your using the logic that OSU deserves a shot in the title game, then yes, Hawaii deserves to be in there, as well. Do I think they deserve to be in there? Heck no.

Might as well soften things up for the Luckeyes and their fans, who apparently think there's a conspiracy against them. Although I'd probably bet on MSU in that game as well.
