You had Elliott winning by 63; I had them by 34. Margin was 43. Somewhere in between would have been about right.

 

So far, Elliott has done nothing to indicate that they're not tops in the 16th...

I was at the game and frankly it was over by halftime. I think EC had an 18 point lead and you had the feeling it was going to get worse. Morgan had a lot of trouble with Elliott's quickness, not to mention everything they threw up went in. Ethan Faulkner and Ferguson both had an excellent first game. Somebody said Et. Faulkner had 20+, I would be surprised if he didn't have

30+.

 

If the Knipp kid works hard, he will be a major college player, no doubt about it. Smooth as silk, has got great timing on shots altered & blocked and is very long. This team doesn't need him to score just be an inside presense. He picked up a couple of quick fouls but still had a solid game. I think Morgan's coach had the idea to play the uptempo game with EC, you have to have the firepower to match them.

 

It will take a team with a good PG and a couple of athletic bigs in the middle to give them a run. Ashland & East come to mind, should be much better games.

Timmy played very well tonight. He only had 11 points but I would imagine he had 10+ rebounds and several blocks and altered even more. Great player that is only going to better with maturity. Major D-1 prospect.:thumb:

I would put him in the 6'6" range. He was the tallest kid on the floor and MC had a good sized kid as well. Yes he is a freshman.

I was looking forward to see how the younger Knipp did. Someone said he looked like a D1 player tonight. He only had 11 points. I wonder how many rebounds and blocks he had ?

 

He had 6 rebounds and 4 blocks

I also predicted that Elliott would score 105 and they scored 102. This team is scary good. I could see this team making a run at a state championship in the next 2 years.:thumb:

Very good game enven though I didn't think that Elliott played their best, but it was the first game of the year. Look forward to many more big scoring games.
