Montgomery Co. lost to GRC by 13 in their opener and bounced back with a win over Powell - by 4 in overtime. Good things are happening in Mt. Sterling...

Losing to GRC by 13 without thier top 5 Freshman and then only winning aginst Powell Co in OT..really to me dosn't sound like a great beginning.

Souths Freshman are pretty good this year, got a win against Corbin after being down 15 at half.. I think they lost to Clay co, but stuck with them most of the game.. Tyler Huff #30 had like 30 against Corbin, and is already playing JV, gonna be a kid to watch out for..

To see the improvement from one game to the next is a good thing... Most of our frosh aren't shaving yet...

Corbin now has their football players back which gives them one more player with size and did beat South Laurel in a rematch on Saturday. South does have a team with good all around size and should be much improved later on in the season as coach Hammonds is an excellent coach. SL seemed to have trouble guarding the post but did have a good half court trap defense.

Yeah, i also heard that during the rematch on Sat SL had the lead during the 4th and missed 6th stright FT's which killed them..

Haha. Never seen the guy play but heard he was a good ballplayer. Cody is gonna really be a good ball player in a couple of years not that he isnt a good ball player already. Can't wait to see if he keeps growing.

Brossart competes for better than a half with Cincinnati Elder on Saturday (Dec. 1). The score was 22-17 with 4:31 to go in the third period, when Elder went on an 8-0 run to secure the victory. Final Score Elder 43- BBHS 23.

Paris Frosh beat Sayre 18. PHS lost to Clark Co. in fresh opener by around 10. Was a 5 point game late. Fouls were 12-2 in the first half in favor of Clark.

CCH handled St Henry tonight. I'm not sure of the name of #23 for SHDHS but he's got a very nice game. NKYBOY can tell us.
