Scott Co. Freshman Boys beat Lafayette 46-32

NKU, I know for a fact that their freshmen team is not what it is going to be in a few weeks. This is a bad time for NCC to be playing Cov. Cath and then have to play Ryle on Saturday.

Is Jake Geisler playing hoops or did he get moved up to the Varsity FB squad for the title run? He could be a difference maker. Looked to be about 6'4" or so. I know he's a tremendous all-around athlete. Younger brother of NCC varsity player, Matthew Geisler.

Who played well for Lewis Co frosh?

 

Theres a new boy who transferred here this year named Cody Riley. He had 22 points and rebounded the ball well. This was the first time I got to see him play and I was impressed. We will see how well he does against the JV tonight. Adam Pruitt had a good game even though he didnt score alot. He plays hard and plays good defens. And Justin McCann did a decent job running the point guard postition. He handled the pressure well and didnt turn the ball over as often as in the past. I think the freshman team will only get better with time together.

Is there an incomming transfer comming I don't know about, or are you referring to the football players. Jake Cain is the only one I know for sure is comming out after football.

Pendleton County freshman picked up a 8 point victory over Bracken County.

I cant believe Mason lost this game to Lex Cath unless some of its players have been pulled up to play JV/ Varsity. Mason's freshamn team is one of the most experienced, talented group of players around. I have seen this team along with Coach Gilbert, play since the kids were 3rd graders...and win!

I know most all of the starters for the Freshman at Mason just got out of football recently.They will be fine and Coach Gilbert isnt coaching Freshman.

Mason got in foul trouble early... Setty had an off night as he was battling flu-like symptons. Gilbert played extremely well and led frosh with 25. Pawsat still trying to get in shape from football. The rematch is in January at the fieldhouse. Lex Catholic is a very good team that shoots the ball extremely well from the perimeter. The freshman team needs its role players to step and accept the challenge when playing top notch competition ,instead of being bystanders and watching the big three.
