Yeagle began his career at Beechwood in 1991.

 

From 1991 through 1997, Beechwood's record was 91-9 and they won their first 12 games in 1998.

 

So Yeagle was 100-9 through the first 9 games of his 8th year. :eek:

He's answering the second question. Yes, there is a coach with a better winning percentage in his career.

^ I would venture to guess that 25% wouldn't qualify in any record book. I would say you'd have to have a five season minimum.

I would be interested to see what Dale Mueller's stats are at Highlands since He started there in 1995. Anyone have that info?

RP, the original post didn't qualify the question. It just asked for a coach with a better winning percentage. Record books were never brought up in the original question.

Dale's first football season was actually 94. His record as of end of last year was 138-43 at HHS. That is counting a 2-13 season in 04.

 

He was at 98 wins at the end of the 01 season and they went 10-4 in 02. Not sure how quickly he picked up win #100 but his record was no worse than 100-17 but I know he didn't have 17 losses when he won #100.

Yea Homer Smith from Highlands. someone correct me with the exact numbers, but it is like 96 and 8. he went on to college after that. I overlooked the "active" part.
