Meade County 25 Male 3 (6A)

The reaosn why you don't do it, especially on a chat forum, is because you get people second guessing whether he'll be back or not. Unless you have first hand knowledge of the situation, then you shouldn't post anything.

IF the only items posted on here were FACTS..and FIRST HAND KNOWLEDGE....then this thing would be pretty blank and empty.

Meades deffense stepped up in a very big way tonight. Male had less than 70 yards rushing and 171 yards passing. Most of their rushing yards came on qb draws. Meade forced 8 turnovers, 6ints. and 2 fumble recoveries.

Meades offense was led by # 30 Nick Stinnet who had 7 catch's for 147 yards and 1 td. JL Cannedy completed 21 0f 32 for 240 yards. This is the first time in 12 years that a Male team has been kept out of the endzone.

These kids on Meades team never quit, after starting out 0-3 they have reeled off 10 staight wins. We have no size, no team speed, or that sure D1 player on our team. But what we do have is a great coaching staff and 60 kids who leave it all on the field on Friday nights for each other, thier school and thier community.

Now we have the toughest test thus far against a great X team next Friday, but if the stars and planets are alligned just right, we could pull another shocker. To be the best you have to beat the best!

GO GREEN!!!!!

Is there a Meade County web site with stats?

Hats off to Meade Co. They simply wanted it more than the Male kids last night. #30 came down with so many passes I lost count. Male fell into a stump and never seem to come out of it. They were down after halftime and never got back up. But the rumors about Redman I don't think he is going anywhere anytime soon guys. Good Luck Meade Co.

Where is Alabama Larry?

He was on the railroad and missed the game. Glad he had to work. Just can't get over the hump. Last year was our year. Just got to try harder, thats what a "private Booster " told me. No TDS?

Ole Red may be returning to his old stomping ground.

his "oldest" stomping ground...as a head coach...was Durrett. Where coincidentally he is right now. At least geographically.

Congratulations to the Green Wave. I agree with others who have said that they played like they wanted it more. They have a tough, tough defense and looked to be very well-coached. It will be interesting to see how they do against X.

As for the speculation about Coach Redman, we'll see. There has been speculation the last several years that he may be close to hanging it up at Male. If that is the case, I don't know why he stuck around after 2006. It was pretty apparent after graduating 80% of the starters (including Mr. Football) last season that 2007 would be a lean year.

Jeb nice win for those boys I am telling you. Good Luck against the GIANT because they wil be a very very very tough out for sure. But you never know maybe there will be a flu epidemic at X this week and they will not have enough to play. LOL I sure wouldn't want to play them that is for sure.

That's my question with this as well. Though, knowing him like I do, he so loves a challenge, and with Mr. Green and Heyman, I am quite sure he thought he might be able to work a bit of magic. Anyway, I wish him the best, and personally would like to see him back at Ballard to renew OUR rivalry with them.
