I don't think anyone is disputing your Cards or saying they will be a bad team, but preseason #2 is a bit lofty in the expectation department to most due to their youth. Now at the end of the season they very well could be a #2 team or higher, but this thread is preseason. Not a knock against the Cards, just I think most are being realistic.

So who would you put #2 and where would you place the Cards? Lets have your rankings. Most everyone except Mason Co will be young this year.

I would put GRC at #2...word is the Cards are going to suprise and be better this year, than many had thought.

If Stephens plays like I here he played in the summer I still give Montgomery the #2 nod over the cards.If he plays like he did at the end of the year last year they drop.GRC will be good but except for the red head kid they will be very young but talented.As far as Scott as someone mention I think the #10 spot isn't much different then the #7 spot this year in the 10th I simply gave St. Pat and Augusta the nod ahead of them because of experience.Devilman I have nothing against Deming,Only thing accept for the King twins they don't have much and I wouldn't want to put all my eggs on two 6'0 guards.But again these are just my opinions and that is the reason for this thread is to get everybody Else's top 10 and take on the 10th since the season is almost upon us. Heres to a fun and healthy basketball season.

Will Montgomery play a schedule worthy of their school size and potential status; or will they still try to be the best Central KY "A" school not eligible for the All "A"??

You might get away with that preseason ranking solely on being a defending champion, but for no other reason.

Ryan Williams who was very successful in football, Aaron Dini who was a 1st team all state in soccer, Miller isn't new but he was out most of the year last year. There are also several new sophs and freshman. Not sure who will see varsity time but theres 3 new freshman 6'4 or taller. Lewis is also returning to help down low but beyond that not a whole lot of size.

Well, lets see, GRC opens with Franklin County from the 11th region. I would say that GRC ranked second in the 10th should be favored by at least 25 over Franklin Co. who is basically a "weak sister" in the 11th. If they don't cover that spread, I question there #2 ranking in the 10th.
