Colts: Caught cheating?

Featured Replies

Yeah, the illegal crowd noise being pumped into the dome.

Or the feed we were getting from the truck...

Not sure why any of this would be covered up...

Surely somewhere in here it was noted that CBS has taken full credit for the noise and said Indy did nothing and the noise never made it to the stadium.

It is completely different than what the Pats did. Should the NFL find the Colts guilty, do you think the punishment will be similar?

I have no dog in this fight and don't give anybody a pass, but who has painted the Colts to be a "good guy" franchise?? If anything Brady and company were painted with the same strokes until the recent videotaping scandal.

Don't flatter yourself.

Gregg Easterbrook, who pens the very good Tuesday Morning Quarterback column on ESPN Page2, for one. While I'm completely indifferent toward the Pats, how can you not see the Colts and Peyton as being the league's darling?

And while Brady might've been seen in a good light until recently, Belichick's longtime surliness soured most folks on the Pats long before the videotape deal.

And I don't see how it's different from the videotaping thing. Both were done to gain a competitive advantage.

So if the NFL said this was not the case, why are people still discussing it?

Where has it been said the NFL considers it a dead issue?

^ . . . OK...CBS admits it...the NFL admits it...the Colts say it's not....but JIM SCHUE says hogwash...that MUST be true.

*cough* COVER-UP! Let's protect the face of the league at all cost. This is kind of like the Jordan Rules.

It's a conspiracy, I tell you. The league is conspiring to shove Peyton down my throat and make me like it, but it ain't happenin' ...

Sounded like technical problems from me. I don't know how many have been to the RCA Dome for a game but that place is very loud. Nothing but aluminum seating and it's very small. I went to a game in '95, Indy vs defending SB champion SF, and the crowd noise did a number on Steve Young and Co.

You have to like it.... :D
