And I am sure none of you have anything to do with that. I don't root against them (Russell), I root for them because I think their Staff, their AD, and their kids are all class. And even though it is difficult to do, I can't let some posters at BGP taint my view of the entire program no matter hard it seems like they try.

 

Back to Raceland/Fairview which is really what this thread is supposed to be about, I am confident that Raceland will be more than ready for this game. If not, they might be in for a long night. But these kids want another shot at going to LCA and proving they are better than they were several weeks ago. I believe in them and I believe they can get it done.

Well said on all points...this school-bashing (just to get under people's skin) is immature. To read some of it you'd think the kids were posting it! If people can't say something positive or at least post constructive (and might I add valid) criticism, then don't post anything, PERIOD (especially if the thread doesn't even involve your team).

 

I hope the Rams right the ship Friday night against Fairview (which I think they will), & I hope Russell takes care of the Raiders.

Absolutely correct :thumb:. There are several factors involed in Raceland's loss vs. West and the ones that you mentioned do not need to be repeated, you are 100% correct. Trust me, I don't want to dissapoint some people but the loss to Russell had NOTHING to do with a loss vs. West Carter.

Raceland was flat out beaten against Russell by a better football team on that night,(played Russell even in the 1st half and lost the game in the 2nd half) end of story and certainly no "super bowl":D. I believe that it was tagged the "Rail Cities Bowl" and hardly a comparison to the super bowl, both teams (Rusell and Raceland) are not bad but I don't think that either is ready for a Super Bowl .

Raceland lost to West bc of the factors that you mentioned along with possibly another that I a not sure of and even if true is not to be talked about now.

 

Now, Back to this week, Raceland is not playing Russell or West Carter, we are playing Fairview. I certainly hope that Raceland will come out focused on Fairview and Fairview only. I believe that they will. :thumb:

It's a shame you have to just not post, rather then get into an argument with people who appear to have no other agenda then to try to bait people into getting suspended, because they could not control their own emotions.

 

As for this Friday's game, I think this will be another example of a great football atmosphere. I expect a big crowd and a great football game. Good luck to Raceland, and I hope both teams play well and no one experiences injury.

None taken...:thumb: I will agree that Raceland has played average at times, & inconsistently as of late, but I think they will be ready. I think this is an above average team if they come ready to play four quarters. Of course that hasn't happened yet, & I will agree that last year's team was well above average, especially compared to this one.

 

If the Rams get by Fairview (which i think they will), I think you'll see a different Raceland team than you saw at LCA several weeks earlier for various reasons. We shall see...
