February 28, 200818 yr I still say HIGHLANDS needs to be removed. :madman: They are guestionable at most and the list is just getting toooooo long. Actually if the list is for all schools that have committed "KHSAA violations" as the original post asked, the list should be a lot, and I mean a lot longer, as every time a coach gets thrown out of a game its a KHSAA violation and a fine paid; if the principal doesn't attend mandatory KHSAA meetings, its a violation and a fine paid; if required reports aren't filed, its a violation and a fine can be charged; if schools don't comply with Title IX, its a violation and games required to be cancelled and fines charged, etc, etc. There are a boat load of schools that have unfortunately done at least one of the above.

Maybe we should start a list of schools that have never committed a KHSAA violation.
February 28, 200818 yr Greenup Co. self reported violations and the KHSAA investigation turned up absolutely nothing. Go figure that one for what it is worth! I guess add Greenup Co. to the list!

Obviously, there are varying degrees to "KHSAA violations". Maybe this thread should be titled KHSAA violations that resulted in game forfeitures?
February 28, 200818 yr Zero allegations of recruiting. I've seen the file. The only reason Highlands was sanctioned was because they played Mitchell after the judicial system ruled him eligible to play. The fact that Highlands had the audacity to follow the ruling of this country's judicial system as opposed to the administrative decision of a group of Superintendents, Coaches and AD's that comprised the BOC upset the BOC members and they vindicatively sanctioned Highlands. The really ironic part of that whole situation is that after the sanctions were levied, the judicial system finally ruled in Mitchell's favor, thus had the BOC waited until the judicial system had finally ruled on Mitchell, they never could have sanctioned Highlands to begin with. How do you like those apples? Pretty amazing isn't it. Did you all get your wins reinstated by the KHSAA?
February 28, 200818 yr Did you all get your wins reinstated by the KHSAA? No, the Administration decided not to push the matter.
February 29, 200818 yr Author Another public school to add to the list. JOHNSON CENTRAL FOOTBALL PROGRAM PENALIZED Please say it isn't so. They were already on it at #5. I'll put recidivist by them.

February 29, 200818 yr No, the Administration decided not to push the matter. Stinson, Williamson and the Board must be spineless!
February 29, 200818 yr Stinson, Williamson and the Board must be spineless! I would say they are smart for not pushing the issue. What comes around goes around and enough already went around.
March 1, 200818 yr I would say they are smart for not pushing the issue. What comes around goes around and enough already went around. Glad there are some rational posters on here.
