October 24, 200718 yr The cracks in my yard are flash-flooding. And the top soil I keep putting down due to a water main break keeps washing away. It's a downhill slope. The county filled it the first time, and then we also had a house up the street receive a break. I give up. I might buy sod in the spring.

To put this in context, from July 1 through October 1, my area received 8.73" of rain.
