Just curious. Someone said they saw the team bus at CCH later than they expected. I thought maybe Holmes had chanced the gametime.

I heard the same thing. They got there after 6:00. I assumed it was by choice. There might have been traffic.

CCH defense shut Holmes offense down all night. CCH offense was slow to get going but put together some good drives in the second half. They kept the ball out of Holmes hands.

After seeing the Dixie/CCH and CCH/Holmes games it makes the Dixie/Holmes game even more puzzling.

The CovCath vs Holmes game was much closer than the final score. Watch the game on Tuesday on channel 22 on Insight cable to listen to theoldguy doing the color of the game with announcer Rich Robinson..... It was fun......

Also, Buckley looked very good tonight. The Furnish/Shulte QB combo was a little slow to start the game but seemed to get going in the second half. Isler dressed and even threw and punted before the game but did not play. I would think he be good to go next week.

How many carries did Buckley get? Will this game be played back on TV?

It's more embarrassing to the team to take a knee on the 10. Bring in your subs and run the ball. Schulte had the entire game to work on that play. Left the field covering my face before the game was over. Biggest in your face I've ever seen in person.

Wow do I have a bad memory. I correct myself. Sorry, up 35-0 against Scott and Coach B called for an onside kick. Then threw a TD pass up 42-0.
