October 18, 200719 yr I was thinking about this today. Is there any word of any big name QB's they are recruiting? With the success of the CATS and the success Woodson is having in this system you would think they have a shot to land a big QB or two.

I don't know if they will or any certain ones that they have been after but I would think that the sucsess the last couple of years will help - sure isn't going to hurt.
October 18, 200719 yr I am just enjoying this season right now. :thumb: Me 2..alot of the season left to play! :dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa
October 18, 200719 yr There is 1 QB that is a 4 star that had UK in his top schools, and he is one of the best 5 scrambling QBs in the upcoming class. His name is MarQueis Gray.

October 18, 200719 yr Just a side note: that Gray kid looks dead on Plaxico Burress in my opinion. Also, I think next year's QB needs to be the winner of Hartline/Fidler (or Lentz). I wish Pulley would realize he can be a WR at the next level and not try to get that QB spot. The offense would be very similar and not need as many adjustments if it switched to Hartline/Fidler compared to Pulley.
October 18, 200719 yr Pulley isnt even enrolled at UK right now is he? I think he is, but not sure. I know he is supposed to be eligible this fall. As far as who will be the QB, here is my guess at the depth chart at QB next year. Hartline Pulley Fidler Mason (verbal from Nashville)
October 18, 200719 yr I would think that the recruits will be lining up after they see the amount of attention that Woodson is getting this season. Especially if he ends the year in New Orleans and then New York
October 18, 200719 yr From what I hear from inside the program is that Joker and Rich Brooks fully expect Pulley to be the man next year. I also believe they would love for Chris Todd to come on board...

Hartline Pulley Fidler Mason (verbal from Nashville) Isn't he a Pulley style guy? If so, might the Cats be looking to move towards a spread offense?
October 18, 200719 yr I think it will come down to Hartline and Lentz. Pulley is too valueable in other spots, especially with Burton and Stevey"Big Play" Johnson graduating.
October 18, 200719 yr Pulley isnt even enrolled at UK right now is he? Curtis is on the team as a redshirt practicing every day running the scout team. I attend quite a few practices and was at the spring game 2 years ago when Curtis was named the starting QB over Woodson. Believe me Curtis can throw the ball and is unbelievable beating you with his feet. He now needs to learn the mental part of being a QB and learn to make the right decisions and checks. I believe he will no doubt be the starting QB next year if he takes care of business in the classroom and shows dedication in the off season.(something he did not do last time and lost the job back to Dre) He has all the talent in the world to become a great SEC QB he just has to do the work to get him there. UK may end up being harder to defend because of his dual threat abilities.
