October 15, 200719 yr Both these teams have to play each other in the season. So one of these two will lose but which? I think that the Pats have a easier road than the Colts. My guess is neithor will go 16-0. October 15, 200719 yr Patriots 1) They're better, IMO. 2) Their schedule is far easier, IMO. Excluding the Colts, the Pats best remaining opponents are @ Baltimore and Pittsburgh. After that, the three next toughest games on paper are Washington, Philly and @ NYGiants. Indianapolis has a far tougher road...their division is much stronger. Jacksonville - They're a very good and very strong and physical team that has played Indy very tough in recent years. The Colts have two games remaining against them. Tennessee - The Titans are improving. And, like Jacksonville, they're a very strong and physical team that has played Indy pretty tough over the last two seasons. @ San Diego - The Chargers 3-4 defense has given the Colts trouble on a couple of occasions. Also, the Pats had the lucky break of catching a struggling Charger team...from the looks of the last couple of weeks, the Colts may very well be playing a team that bears a much closer resemblance to last year's 14-2 squad. @ Baltimore - Both teams have to play the Ravens. Kansas City - While I don't expect KC to beat Indy, they are faring much better than many expected, including myself. They seem to be an improving team...they have the type of ball control mentality that could work well against the Colts if LJ and the running game can get going. Even if Indy does beat New England, I don't see them running the table. However, if New England beats Indy, I think they have a great shot...the best chance in recent memory of winning out. If they do beat the Colts, I think one of the biggest deterrents to NE winning out will be the possibility of them clinching home field and resting players down the stretch.
October 15, 200719 yr I think Bill has alot to prove this year, and I could see him playing his guys up to week 16. Where as Dungy would rest his players, much like last year. JMO. So if the Pats can beat the Colts in week 9, I say they go 16, :DI mean 19-0!
October 16, 200719 yr I don't think that either will, but I'd say that Patriots, because the Colts have to play New England in week 9.
October 16, 200719 yr Pats. They have the stronger defense, which will allow their offense to have an off-day and still win. Not that their offense will ever have an off day.
October 16, 200719 yr Pats are a step above any other team in the NFL. Agreed, as of today, there are a LOT of games left. :thumb:
