I believe St. X will win. St. X is too strong and too fundamentally sound. Yet...........I hate to see a good team start reading their press clippings and rankings and think they can just walk out onto the field. I don't think that this will happen, but I would like to see this team even get better as the year concludes. "Honor your opponet with your best performance." PRP has a lot to gain and little to lose in this game. That is sometimes a dangerous situation. How many people really thought U of K would beat LSU? I think a lot of people hoped it was possible; but how many counted on it to actually happen? Maybe I should ask those U of K fans that were arrested that stormed the field?

St. X should win if they stay focused and concentrate on this game only and not look to the future. The worst thing the players could do now is believe the various rankings, worry about stats, or overlook an opponent. They need to set a goal for each and every game and as Homerun so aptly put it,"honor your opponent with your best performance".

Well said, Old Corps! This could very easily be a "trap game" for the Tigers if they spend too much time reading their press clippings. Despite their record, the Panthers have some talented personnel with size and speed. Remember the Ballard game, Tigers. Stay focused in the stretch run, and get the job done! :ylsuper:

The Tigers are too good this year for "trap games". Since they've gotten all of their starters back, X has been unstoppable and one of the best teams in the nation. :scared: The Ballard game was an anomaly, and they didn't have 7 starters. Glaser can rest his guys in the second quarter again if he chooses.

I agree. It is much different on the high school level, e.g. enrollments, college scholarship limits, team size, etc. Certain schools in the state could play St. X a hundred times and not win once.
