UK 43 LSU 37 (3 OT)

Featured Replies

That was bad sportsmanship for sure.

I began to think UK would pull it out when that D lineman hit Andre in the head and gave UK 15 yards and a fresh set of downs. The Cats were inside their head at that point. I am surprised they didn't toss his rear out with that blatant hit/punch.

I saw a few plays where LSU was playing dirty, not sayin UK didn't, but I didn't see it if they did. I cheer SEC all the way, but tonight UK made me VERY VERY glad that LSU wasn't representing what's supposed to be the best in the nation after that game.

UK's defensive stop to end the game marked the first time this year LSU has not converted a fourth down.

Miles said after the game that "he was suprised that UK was able to move the ball so well" If I was an LSU fan, I would be livid. How could he watch film of UK's last 10-11 games and not know that they would be able to move the ball? He also said after the game that "this was not very fun for his LSU team" duh...

What a game, zero sacks allowed by the O-line. A great college football game ! And how about the blitz pickup by the freshman Locke. The ride continues for the Cats. If anyone has seen the post game interview with LSU's coach Miles, one could see how the press missed a golden opportunity. Miles was only one pointed question away from a full blown Bobby Knight meltdown. It killed him to give UK credit. If he had only been asked how UK's O-line dominated the supposed best D-line in college football at the most critical times... Miles would have imploded.

^RockPride I'm not calling you out, just saying that Woodson deserves credit for playing as well as he did despite the interceptions, etc.

I don't fault Woodson for either INT. No way that Burton should allow the DB to take the first one away from him and he was hit on the second one which caused the pass to fall short.

UK can play with anyone...in my homerism....this kind of makes me think that Louisville still can play with anyone as well......Steve Johnson has to get much love...he has been that X factor that no one outisde of Lexington knew about.

UL still has a shot to win the Big East........it's going to be tough with their schedule though.

You hate that superior OH football don't ya. Maybe someday... someday.. for ya guys.

You are right :thumb: . . . I HATE OSU, if I were an OSU fan, I would love that. I think Jim Tressel is phenominal and I hated the day they hired him.....I do HOPE that one day U of L can get to that level.

I heard Tom Leach say someone suggested that they have a bucket to take up money before the Florida game next weekend. If everyone put in just $1, they would have enough to pay for it, with close to $20,000 to spare.

In reality they should ask for $2 to cover the Florida expense.....with that I don't think they should charge the field if they beat Florida, or UT later.

On a bright note - this will be the first time in college football history that a team loses to a 1AA team in the first game of the regular season and then beats the #1 team in the nation in the last game :ylsuper:

Michigan won't beat Ohio State.

We were saying the same thing. The first blow to his helmet was unintentional (or so it seemed). But, then he took a cheap shot after the fact which should have gotten him tossed.

:thumb: To me that just was an extension of the LSU Head Coach's Cheap Shot attitude . A loss to a #1 ranked team could not have happened to a nicer more classy guy . :thumb::D.

:thumb: This statement does have a couple of things that I can agree with you on RP ;).

I just LOVE IT when someone rants on how they hate the Buckeyes, it (to me) is a great compliment. Kind of like the dislike for U.K. Basketball and the New York Yankees!!

The more they hate the more that we are in their heads.......... :thumb::D;). One of the finest forms of flattery!

^ You're gonna love to hate him when he is manning the Maize and Blue sidelines.
