October 15, 200719 yr If some UK fans can say that about Brohm, why can't he say it about 'Dre? UK's play calling is winning them games, Louisville is not winning games, Change the play calling! WAY TO GO UK!!! UK is now ranked 8th
October 15, 200719 yr A great day for football in the commonwealth. Both UK and UL beat ranked opponents and see their Heisman candidates move back up the list! It doesn't get much better than this!!! First class post! :thumb:

October 15, 200719 yr First class post! :thumb: Thanks! I actually stole )(er, ... borrowed) some of that from Deuce in a previous post he had, but had to add in the Heisman stuff. How can ANY lifelong resident of Kentucky not be happy for both teams and both of these kids. They deserve all the accolades they are getting and bringing a lot of attention to our state, ... IN FOOTBALL!!!! Who da thunk it!!!

October 15, 200719 yr I will give UK a little respect here and say GREAT WIN. 1.UK needs to get off the whole Woodson for Heisman thing and call their plays 50 pass/ 50 run. When they start trying to pass almost every down, they get into trouble. Woodson is a preety good game manager at QB. 2.Find someone else to play for Burton right now, he's obviously hurting. 3.UK does not need Little. Personally, I think he's quite a bit overrated and if Dixon could hold on to the ball, he could easily be the starter. 4.The offensive line is either way better than I expected, or Glen Dorsey is one of the most OVERRATED D-lineman ever! Again, great win for Kentucky. I still think UT will win. Kentucky rushed 40 times, passed 38. Pretty balanced in my book.

Again, great win for Kentucky. I still think UT will win. Been waiting for you to weigh in on this big win for the Cats. 1. Woodson is an EXCELLENT game manager and a Heisman frontrunner. To be that, you have to win a BIG game against a top notch opponent, and this was it for him. 2. I agree, Burton is not himself right now. Can't wait til he is back at 100%. 3. Little is EXCELLENT when healthy. I am hearing now he is out indefinitely as his thigh bruise is not getting better. Locke is the future of the UK backfield. I also agree that Dixon can be solid when he learns to hang onto the ball. 4. O line is way better this season and that was the big question mark coming into this season. The game plan to roll the pocket away from Dorsey was a great plan that worked brilliantly. I haven't seen them do that much this season, and it was a very smart win. This game was far from the "absolute massacre, just like last year" that you predicted. But I have to admit, I didn't think the Cats could pull this one off. I am very glad to have been wrong!

October 15, 200719 yr Great article on this game and what it means for UK football. http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/story/7331802?forum_key=StoryComments&topic_key=7331802&page_no=1
October 15, 200719 yr I have to also say that Woodson is a cool cat under pressure! Pardon the pun.:lol:

October 15, 200719 yr I have to admit that I have been waiting for a few posters to come eat some crow, but haven't seen a post from them since their predictions. One has and I admire that, I admitted that I was wrong (even thought I picked a 38-30 loss and not a blowout), but a couple haven't been back on any college football threads since the game which is very unusual. But I am convinced that we will here from them IF UK were to lose to UF this weekend. I won't call out names as that would be wrong, but I think UK is now officially past losing games when the opponent can 'pick the score' or beat UK by 'as many as they want to'. These Cats have a whole lotta fight in them. I guess Ole Blue and his staff have actually done something I didn't think could be done in Lexington, ... change the mindset regarding football.
October 16, 200719 yr Outstanding game by Kentucky! They have a great football team this year and I think that they have a great shot at a BCS bowl as long as they continue to take care of business. :thumb::ylsuper: I was at a party Saturday night with a bunch of Louisville fans and a few UK fans and all but one guy was cheering hard for the Cats. The one guy was a Louisville fan from Lexington that didn't want his dad and other UK friends from back home to give him heck about it.
October 16, 200719 yr Wonder what the outcome of the game would be if Little had been playing. I really like the Locke kid. I do too, but Little is a big time back. Dixon and Locke are a great duo, but if they split the carries 50% Little, 30% Dixon, and 20% Locke, they will be pretty successful. Locke is just a freshman, he will be here for a few more years to showcase his many talents.
October 16, 200719 yr It was a great game, and I'm glad I got to go with a buddy of mine that had tickets. Way to go WILDCATS:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa Now let's get ready for Florida.:fire:
