David Bird - Standout Career Ended Early

Featured Replies

Good luck in your recovery. I know it does not feel good and you hate to miss the bread and butter of the season. Just be thankful it was diagnosed and you were properly treated. Sounds like you were in good hands and you are thankful for that.

Prayers and Best wishes for David Bird.

Hate to hear of a kid's high school career ended by injury. Best of luck on a full recovery and for success at the next level.

Unbelievable!!!!! TB&G, please let David and his family know we are thinking about him and our prayers go out to him and his family.

David is a class act!!! We hope for the best and wish him nothing but success at the next level.

We will make sure and mention him on the show tomorrow.

God speed to David! Our very best to him. - Carroll County

TB&G, you know the way that I felt about Bird. I will truly miss watching him play. Trimble is a bit of a rival school to Henry but I still watched Trimble play 3 games this year because of Mr. Bird. I pray that he recovers and gets to move his game on to the next level, because he was a special, special player.

David is recovering well and out of the woods. He will remain in Uof L medical center for about 4 more days.

He sure is missed, the young man could sure play the game of football.

David and all of the Raider family thank everyone for there prayers.

TBG I have been praying for David. Hate to hear his high school footballs days are over, but so glad that he is going to be OK. Prayers and angels are with him, his family and all his many friends.

Sad to hear this... Wish him the best of luck on recovery, and hope to see him on the next level.

Prayers from Gallatin and my family.

Sorry to hear this. Many prayers to he and his family.

David wishes to thank all of you for your kind words. They mean a lot to him.

He could still use your prayers. The risk of various infections is still a possibility. Today has been a rough day for him.

I've been at work the past few days and just heard about this. We also had a senior son have an injury his last year so I know what David is going thru. The main thing is that David be on people thoughs and prayers. He is on ours and our Churches.

You will be fine David...1st Samual 16:7

A very special thank you to Alabama Larry, who was called on to offer some prayers and went above and beyond and visited David in the hospital. Thank you so much, Larry!
