Frankfort didnt come out flat... They just thought that after the scored one TD that they could start running plays that shouldn't be ran... Frankfort should have scored way more... should have been a blow out!!!

Trimble did play great and Franfort stepped up when they needed to. looked like on several plays in the second half the QB changed them, could this be true

The only thing I can say is districts mean alot more than regular season, after reading many of your statements, I can tell your all about gallatin and thats good, just remember when the raiders come to town 29-8 does not matter.

All of my post are just picking at TBG. Hopefully TBG understands that, I have said numerous times Trimble is very (x10) dangerous. They have 3-4 very explosive players and a coach who knows how to use them. Thats a very dangerous combo. I will say it again--I love to watch the Bird kid run the ball. TBG hope your not mad at me.

i absolutely agree with true blue and gold... #9 was the difference maker. Ej had maybe two good drives..i mean come on anyone can hand the ball off to an beasty running back. i looked up frankfort earlier and #9 is just a freshman if that roster was telling the truth then he is goin to be a really big problem for not just trimble but all their opponents after this year and the next three years. I was at the game and the raiders pretty much shut down Ej Fields compare to all the other games he had against other foes. Trimble's defense was excellent Tall Tress indicated it well when he said the game was closer then what the score said... which is true. I'm not taking anything from Frankfort they are a great team and i think they can run the table if they stay healthy and keep their heads in the game!!

Trimble didnt shut EJ down. He rushed for 112 yards. The game plan is never to let EJ run the ball more than a dozen times. The truth is Quan Weaver shut EJ down. He had the hot hand so he was given the ball.

 

See with the Offensive backs that FHS have the offense is not designed around any certain kid. The ball goes to the kid having the most success on a given night. It just so Weaver (who is a Sophmore) had a break out game. Something the FHS coaches have been waiting on since week 1.

It is hard to tell someone's tone in a post. Let's just all keep it classy and not drag each other down. I would hope that we are all too good for that.

JMO... The game was closer because Frankfort Coaches didn’t floor it after the first TD... instead put it on cruise control.

No.... The FHS fumble that led to TC second score had nothing to do with Trimble. It was a bad toss by the Qb. Missed assignments on defense was do to kids not aligning properly. An offensive guard Not pulling on a trap was a mental break down. Fumbling on the 3 yard line was FB not making a correct pocket to receive the hand off. Missing a FG wide just happens. Getting an unsportsman penalty when your team is about to score is another mental break down.

 

Now I am not saying Trimble County doesn't have a good team. Trust I respect what Trimble has accomplished and respect the coaches and players abilities. I also know Trimble is good enough to beat Frankfort.

 

But Friday nights performance was was lack luster due to the Panthers Players and Coaches not doing Basic fundamentals.
