September 30, 200719 yr Great fall season for me thus far. Cubbies in the post season, UK 5-0 and my Boys are continuing to impress, what more could I ask for?
September 30, 200719 yr Cowboys are quite the suprise... To some maybe, but to me and perhaps other Cowboys fans then not really. I knew that we had the personel in line (thanks to Parcells) and all we needed was a modern approach to the gameplan. As good as Parcells kept the Cowboys disciplined and formal, his approach was just too old school and not cutting edge enough to put them over the top. Thus, Phillips comes in and has a lot to work with for his version of the 3-4, and Jason Garrets approach to offense suits the teams abilities perfectly. Just think, they have been doing all of this without Terry Glenn, with him back in the lineup if it happens, then the offense will be even more devastating. So with that said, I can understand why their fast start and good play can suprise some, but I knew we had everything in place but just needed something to get us over the top. A coaching change will do that.
September 30, 200719 yr Marc Bulger wow.........cried for a new contract and look at this stats this year. To be fair though, the Rams Offensive Line is terrible with a capital T. Injuries have a lot to do with that I suppose. That being said, how bout them Cowboys!!!:ylsuper::ylsuper: The Cowboys have the "perfect storm" as far as offense goes; two quality running backs, a solid core of receivers, one of the best receiving tight ends in the game, a solid offensive line, and a quarterback with pinpoint accuracy who can also burn you with his mobility. The defense is getting better each week, and hopefully will be ready come playoff time.
September 30, 200719 yr Cowboys are quite the suprise...The fact they are doing this with Wade Phillips as the head coach is even more surprising.
