October 1, 200718 yr The offense goes through Rice and I just don't see him getting off. That puts the production on Teel and I'll just say I'm less than impressed. I strongly believe UC has faced better QBs in the last two weeks. The one negative that jumps out at me is the UC O line against the constant pressure Rutgers puts on you. Protect the QB and I think UC wins going away once again... I agree about Rice. If you shut him down, you win the game imo. But that is easier said than done.

October 1, 200718 yr UC has legit shot at this one. I was not sold on Rutgers heading into the season like many were. They lost some key components from their defense, and losing all-everything Brian Leonard on offense was going to be tough to replace. He took a lot of pressure off of Rice. Mike Teel doesn't do anything to wow you and is not a difference maker quarterback. As for UC, when you play good defense you are going to have a chance. They have had a fairly easy schedule thus far but go into a fairly hostile envronment. UC has played two road games, but both were in very pedestrian environments. It will be interesting to see how they handle the atmosphere. Can UC keep heat off of Mauck? Can UC force turnovers or limit theirs? UC has made a living off of turnovers and last night the "O" got cranked up. Can they turn Rutgers over? Rutgers is going to be mad, after a silly home loss to a middle of the road ACC team. I say Rutgers, but not to cover.

October 1, 200718 yr I think Cincy will win. I haven't been sold on Rutgers all season. I'll think they'll have trouble mounting offense against the Bearcats. I think Cincinnati is the better team. The Big East race could and should be interesting this year. I think Cincinnati is still being overlooked to some degree, but I think they have a chance to win that conference. An impressive win over Rutgers would open some eyes.
October 1, 200718 yr I am pulling for the Bearcats. imo they were not given any rspect in the Big East in all the pre season talk and all they have done is go out and win while some others have done all the talking and gone out and lost. I look for a very good, tough, hard hitting game dominated by two good defensive teams. (now watch it be a combined score of 100 or something :lol:). Having said all of that..................
