For North Laurel I would have to say Shawn Nelson, Steven White, Ryan Brandenburg, and Josh Miller

Russell's Tyler Jones. Hard to bring down running the bootleg and will absolutely lay the wood to you on defense.

Not my team per say, but the one that I follow-Ft Thomas Highlands Bluebirds and their hardest hitter to me is a tie between Zorro-Zach Hurt and Luke (Franken)Stine. There is a guy on Dixie that got hit so hard last Friday, I think he is still feeling it. Just IMHO

 

 

Stein (or is it Stine?) filled that hole quick and laid out Brock. That's the best hit I've seen so far this year as both were going full speed, and Brock didn't see him until the last second. However, he stayed in the game, but he was a little slow getting up.

Watching the HHS-TM game @ Nippert...it was a cornerback that made the crowd ooh & ahh! I'm talking about Austin " the Predator" Collinsworth absolutely laying out the reciever on 2 screens!! But I believe you've got it correct with Hurtt/Stein for consistency of crush! Gotta shout out to Drew Simons, too! He's an assassin in the d-backfield!

He did stay in once he got the cobb webs out. I do give him props for that but almost question the trainer staff at Dixie for not taking him out for one play to see if he is ok and maybe do a few concussion tests on him. That is one of the best hits I ever witnessed in person.

Before tonight's game I would have said Pollitt and Tolle for Mason County.

 

After tonight I 'll add FS Cox. He laid one on #14 for West tonight (to his credit the kid came back in a few plays later); I'm not sure West passed over the middle again.
