I think perhaps LSU except that the "SEC Championship" game has the potential to be a "spoiler" game for any SEC team in search of the national championship.

I hate to say it but USC. I don't think the Pac10 is as strong as I thought it would be (still pretty strong), but LSU would have to get thru the SEC regular season and the title game. One slipup and it could be goodbye title shot. That is why we need a playoff system.

I picked USC for that very reason. LSU has a much better chance of losing because of their tough conference. USC has to beat who? Notre Dame? UCLA? Seriously.

If USC can handle Cal and UCLA then they will go all the way but IMO its between LSU, Florida and WVU. Of those teams I would say LSU right now.

USC, they just seem to have the easier road to go undefeated.

I say they do a playoff system. Take the SEC Champion vs. whoever wins the rest of the country... But seriously, I think LSU is the best team but they have such a tough road to get there that a loss is expected.

I wish, but no, they're a few more seasons away from contending.

 

However, if that happened, I'm not sure what I would do. Freaking out would be the start, though. Massive beer drinking would then ensue. :jump:
