Do you blot your pizza?

Featured Replies

Do you take a napkin or paper towel to your pizza to blot off the grease? I do because I've heard it really cuts the calories down. Any truth to this?

Only time I do is when it is soo bad that I am afraid I might need to set a bucket underneath it.

Haven't done it since college.

I like to fold the pizza and let all the grease slide down it into a cup and then I drink the grease.

Well that explains your avatar, didn't realize it was a self portrait. :D

You don't know how close to the truth you are, my friend. Give Nero a beard and there I am.

I do every once in a while if the amount of grease is just ridiculous, but definitely not if I'm around my boys...

Crap. All the good jokes are already taken... :irked:

I do if it is really greasy, grease and my stomach don't go together so I don't do pizza often.

No, I don't blot. I used to add mustard and ketchup, roll up and eat each slice in about three bites.

That's back when my weight couldn't keep up with my metabolism.

Speaking of really good grease, the best is to bake a slice of bread with a piece of bologna resting on top in the oven. The bologna folds up into a bowl and all of the beautiful orange red grease pools in the middle nice and deep. Then you can tear pices of bread and dip it and have a grand old time.

 I should have known better than to start this thread.

:D

You would think so. ;):p

If it is way overloaded with grease then I will but I like some grease on it - makes er' go down smooth ........;) . There is one pizza place close to us that there is a standing joke that goes something along the line of "I would like a little pizza at the side of my grease pie please"
