RockPride
Anyone besides me think that we already know who gets invited to NYC? Booty, Brohm, Brennan, McFadden That's the list. Only three can go...if I were to guess this early I would say: DeSean Jackson, Brian Brohm, Colt Brennan this is taking into accounts upsets that I think may happen. BoondockSaint
As of now, Slaton and or White have to be included in the discussion.
Log Mountain Boy
I think right now the guys who still have a chance are: Brian Brohm Andre Woodson John David Booty Cot Brennan Darrin McFadden Pat White Steve Slaton Deshawn Jackson Sam Bradford Colt McCory Ray Rice Some other guys could slip in there, but that would be my watch list right now. BigBlueFreak
I think that it will come down to Brohm, Booty and McFadden. One of those guys will be off that list of teams can't figure out how to stop Brennan.

buzzer beater
Who? Booty's stats last year- 3,347 passing yards, 29 touchdowns, 9 int. QB's with better stat's last year Andre Woodson- 3,515 passing yards, 31 touchdowns, 7 int. Colt Brennan- 5,549 passing yards, 58 touchdowns, 12 int. Chase Daniel- 3,527 passing yards, 28 touchdowns, 10 int. Graham Harrell- 4,555 passing yards, 38 touchdowns, 10 int. Holbrook from New Mexico State had more yards, and touchdown's than Booty, and the same amount of picks.

He's going to lose votes from people who look at his stats, the system he's in, and the level of competition. Thus, he won't win. I have no problem with saying that Woodson is/can be better than Booty. That doesn't have any bearing, though, on the Heisman vote. The SC qb is ALWAYS going to get votes when they're #1 or #2. Harrell - see Colt Brennan Daniel - strong qb.
h.s.sportsrbest
If, and I know it is a big IF, Nebraska beats USC on Saturday and Lucky keeps himself in the Top 3 in America in Rushing, he'll get some attention. He is really, really good. I know, I know, biased. I get it.

Mean spirited but really funny. :thumb: Lucky is a beast and will have a really nice career on Sundays when his days in Lincoln are up. I know YOU know that, but just for everyone else who may be unfamiliar.

BoondockSaint
According to the CBS "Experts" Brohm wasn't even in the overall consensus Top 5 before the season started. Now after two weeks the have him at the #1 spot. (Not that any of this means anything at the moment.) http://cbs.sportsline.com/collegefootball/heisman
BoondockSaint
ESPN's "experts" have Brohm at the 2 spot after the second week and Woodson at #9. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/heisman07/index 2. Brian Brohm, Louisville Makes me smile when I interview him because he has the nature and looks of Opie. Makes me think of Peyton Manning when he puts on the headgear.
