The question is… Has either teams really played in a difficult game with this much tension? Answer NO.

MY POINT IS that both teams haven’t really faced that much opposition... 300 yards and what's the score? I would assume that NCC can put up tons of yards, but can they score in a big game against a good team when they don't hand them the ball on the 10 yard line? Let’s face facts they’ve not really been a drive type team, and Bellevue controls the ball.

Good point! You can pass all you want when given underneath zones all day. But the field really shortens the closer you get to the goal line.

Ryan Ernst seems to think the Bellevue DB's who seem to have a nose for the ball will get some picks this week. If Kues doesnt play or plays sparingly it could be even worse. Turnovers can help you win....see Bellevue's wins over Ludlow and Newport. Its called being Opportunistic. As opposed to Optomistic which is how I am feeling about Bellevue's chances of keeping this respectable.

Tension??? I am going to assume that you are talking about this season only. Say what you want, any win over CovCath is a big win. Also, Ryle is still a good team. You are short changing who NewCath has played. NewCath is on a different level than anyone that Bellevue has played thus far this year. That is fact. Bellevue will bring what Bellevue brings, hard nosed players and a running game. NewCath will win this game due to depth and overall athleticism. And yes, NewCath will score inside of the 10 against Bellevue.

I'll take Ryle over Newport by a ton .......oh wait that really did happen.

I'll take Covcath over Paris by a ton.....see what LCA did to Paris the next week.

I'll take Simon Kenton over Ludlow.....see what SK did to Conner.

Not even comparable.

I have to agree that comparing schedules is a bad move. Look for an early indicator. A long drive by Bellevue or a turnover or 2 early will keep the game respectable. A quick score or two by the Breds will bring the blowout!!!!!!

Usually you are able to tell w/n the first couple plays whether the games are potential upsets or not and I think you will be able to tell...

I still just don't think that Bellevue quite has the horses that NC does...

Ummm yes both teams have!!! Bellevue last week against Ludlow was in a alot bigger of a game and more tension than this game. Last weeks game was a district game and a big game when it came to seeding for the playoffs. This game means nothing except for bragging rights...Also NCC has faced plenty of opposition, so I dont know what your talking about there...NCC has seen better offenses and defenses than what Bellevue brings into this game. Bellevue however has definitely not seen a defense anywhere near as good as NCC's. Bellevue IMO wont be able to control the ball this game and will have ALOT of three and outs. Which will give the NCC offense the ball ALOT for the game, and lead to alot of points...
