I agree those are some good backs. However I dont think you will see them do to much this week, because they wont have anywhere to run, because NCC will dominate the line of scrimmage IMO, and will be there to stuff them at the line everytime..

I doubt that will happen

The Breds starters play maybe 3 quaters and win BIG NewCath by6TD's

Up by six TD's and having the starters play 3 quarters? Wow! Are they sending a message?

NCC by 35+

Doubt that some of these margins being predicted will happen because NCC starts district play next week and being healthy is important. Handily maybe but not 50 points. And I wouldn't be surprised if QB Parr gets some PT.

I just think that NCC doesn't have the mindset that Bellevue has when it comes to moving the ball downfield NC will try to throw against a much improved defensive backfield for Bellevue and B-town will be running the ball a lot im expecting a dogfight to the end...

You are not telling us nothing new. NCC loves to throw the ball and runs when the defense softens up.

A dogfight to the end ? I just spit my drink all over my comp haha

That defensive of backfield didn't look to impressive to me that I saw...Also yeah Bellevue will run the ball alot, but as I said before they wont be getting anywhere by doing that...NCC wins big this game...

What makes you think NCC will dominate the line of scrimmage? Give me some D-lineman for NCC that you know will dominate. I can tell you that Bellevue has a very big experienced line and if smart will try to grind out a running game and keep the ball in their hands as much as possible. That is my prediction but enlighten me on the Breds Dlineman.

I have heard the Breds have skilled Db's and very good LB's but know nothing about the lineman.

I be honest I dont know of any of their names. I have seen them play one half of football this year, and have seen Bellevue play one game of football this year. And what I saw makes me believe that they will control the line, and that the backers will fill any holes that there maybe, and not allow Bellevue to really get anything on the ground. Bellevue just like Dayton against Beechwood just does not have an offense to do anything against an NCC or Beechwood defense...And that in turn will hurt the Bellevue defense because they will be on the field all game, and NCC probably will end up wearing them down, if Bellevue even stops them to begin with...

NCC 42

Bellevue 0

I would have to say that there line has done a pretty good job... They absolutly killed covcath on the line... BTW NCC is only allowing 9 pts a game against much stiffer competition the bellevue has played

Actually DL Keating was the KR Sports Player of the game against CovCath and DL Wedding and DL Geisler were both critical parts of the defensive line last year when NCC won the state championship. They use those 3 plus a speed rusher on the D-line primarily but they do have some depth behind them also. Kiernan's little brother who is actually larger will play in short yardage situations.

Thats what I was looking for, thanks APNW. Well, maybe the Bellevue Hogs will rise to the challenge and hold their blocks long enough to eek out 3-4 yrds a carry. Ball control is key to not getting blown out.

You should probably not have drinks around the computer anymore if your going to do that.
