Do you mean Kues? He is the one that supposedly had a mild concussion last week. Parr is the backup.

No they should be at the school that their parents enroll them in .

NCC should win the game that is reality, Bellevue winning games against Class A schools is no dream, that is reality also.

 

NCC should have talented teams, they draw from a wide area and usually get some of the best athletes looking for a Catholic high school education in Campbell Co.

 

When they step up and play Highlands, then we can talk about Reality.

I wouldn't place the farm on Parr starting for Kues. There are other options.

As stupid of a game as this is for Bellevue to be playing… who scheduled this game it doesn’t benefit them at all! But that won’t stop me from putting in my two cents worth.

 

Alright the thing to think about is: Who have they played?

 

NCC: Simon Kenton (lost a lot of seniors… turned the ball over in their own red zone like five times); Park Hills Catholic (lost everyone that’s why their coach left); Ryle (formerly a three man team now a one man showcase).

 

Bellevue: Newport (Supposed to be pretty good, obviously experiencing some problems); Paris (Very athletic… that’s about it); Ludlow (Combination of the previous two).

 

Next thing to think about: What are their strengths?

 

NCC: Passing. Stopping the run sometimes…

 

Bellevue: Running, Stopping the run.

 

I think this will be a close one and if Bellevue’s going to win it will be with clock control. With my obvious bias I’ll take

The next two weeks are Brossart and Bracken so this is a game they really need to step up in to compete.

 

 

When the return game is at Bellevue in 08 it is usually one of the largest crowds of the year and financially it is huge.

Yes I do think it is a bad game because it gives NCC an instant advantage as far as getting players out of the Bellevue community. Yes the gate is great, but the game is not, especially when it is a deciding factor in whether or not a prospective student athlete goes to NCC. I know people will maintain family loyalty, but I do think with a winning program and improved schools in Bellevue that some families would decide to keep the tuition money, and send their kids to a good public school… e.g. Ft. Thomas.

That defensive of backfield didn't look to impressive to me that I saw...Also yeah Bellevue will run the ball alot, but as I said before they wont be getting anywhere by doing that...NCC wins big this game...

 

I agree i think Ludlow had like 300+ passing yards.

The question is… Has either teams really played in a difficult game with this much tension? Answer NO.

MY POINT IS that both teams haven’t really faced that much opposition... 300 yards and what's the score? I would assume that NCC can put up tons of yards, but can they score in a big game against a good team when they don't hand them the ball on the 10 yard line? Let’s face facts they’ve not really been a drive type team, and Bellevue controls the ball.
