If Knox Central pulls off the win, would it really be considered a signature win? I think KC is in the uneviable position of having to beat either Rock or Bell to be considered a top team. That's unfortunate because not many teams can pull off that feat, but it is what it is because of their district and location.

No, you're misunderstanding my point. A win over Middlesboro would be impressive and I have nothing but repect for them. What I'm saying is that as long as they are in the same district, respect for KC will be tied to Rockcastle and Bell. No matter who they beat, be it Middlesboro, Corbin or even a Highlands, they will be thought of by many as just another third place team until they beat one of the big two.

I think this season that if they playoff were the way they used to be where 1 disrict plays the other district in the 1st round of the playoffs then KC would handle whoever the play from Boyd's district. Also I would not pencil them in for 3rd place in their district yet by any means.

 

I look for them to get a big win for their program over Mboro.

I thnik Coach Mills has K.C. headed in the right direction. They will grind it out and contol the clock. The Panthers in a close one. I usually pick the traditional powers but I believe that Coach Mills has transferred KC from a perinial doormat to a good football programn that will always play you hard.
