I think the Jackets will pull this one out. M'boro appears to be better on defense this year. If the Tiger's passing attack is as advertised, this should be a good test for the Jackets.

Lee looked at least as good, probably better, than Whitley or Knox. Mboro may not have the overall skill position speed it has had in the past, but they are more physical than the past couple of years. 3 fumbles and a boatload of penalties hurt a team whose strength is lining up and running the football. I think we will continue to improve.

Evarts was tough in the 70's. Unless I am mistaken, 2 different years M'boro lost to Evarts but won the district by virtue of the Dickenson rating system. In other words, we beat Corbin but lost to Evarts.

The Corbin paper indicated that starting time is 5:45. Is that correct?
