August 26, 200719 yr What ever you do, do not lie. You will have to take a polygraph. They will ask you questions in the interview, then repeat some of the questions in the polygraph. No matter what the question tell the truth, they are more concerned about a truthful answer, then they are about the content of the answer. They will more then likely ask you if you have ever used any illegal drugs, if you have at any point in your life, say yes, because that is the question they get most people on in the polygraph.
August 26, 200719 yr ^ All the above are great suggestions! I would also suggest getting a good nice sleep the night before.
August 26, 200719 yr Author Again thanks everyone, yeah I knew they was going to do a polygraph that does not really bother me that bad, I have heard they have like 4 ppl shooting questions off none stop for like 30 min that will be kind of nerve racking.
August 27, 200719 yr Whan they ask you to describe your worst fault, don't say "Dependability - I just can't seem to drag my carcass in to work on time". What's a good answer for the question of "What is your biggest weakness?" I always have a hard time with that one.
August 27, 200719 yr What's a good answer for the question of "What is your biggest weakness?" I always have a hard time with that one. I have used patience, and then turn it around to a positive.
August 27, 200719 yr I have used patience, and then turn it around to a positive. That tends to be mine too, because I really have very little patience.
August 27, 200719 yr Don't lie BUT don't badmouth former employers or especially go off on a rant on them. If you had a prior bad experience with an employer, say positiive things as much as possible. (Tubby Smith would probably be a good example to follow. I bet he talks about UK and his national championship and good fans)
August 27, 200719 yr A lot of prisons/jails will show you a picture and ask you to write a small paragraph about it. The purpose of this is to see how detailed you get in the exercise because you will have to fill out incident reports while working with the prison system.
August 28, 200719 yr If you are coming up for parole, use words like forgiveness, change, growth, savior, and remorse.
