What is the deal with that? If he has now been ruled eligible he should be a big + to Woodford.

I talked to one of the Woodford parents today and they did not know of anything going on. He is playing.

My understanding is that Shawnie Lewis has attained 19 years of age and thus is ineligible as per the KHSAA rules.

 

He is a very fast and gifted athlete.

I was misinformed. Shawnie Lewis is only a junior this year, but this will be his last year of football because he will turn 19 years old before next season starts.

Shawne Lewis is a senior and will graduate this spring. He has worked very hard to actually graduate a year early.

How good is this kid really? I mean from what I hear, (Family in Woodford Co.) is that this kid didn't have to go to camp and that he can come and go from practice whenever he wants. What's up with that? Is he that good that he doesn't even have to dedicate himself to the team? Seems rather odd to me.

I can assure you that the young man is at practice everyday. As for camp, there were some outside reasons why he couldn't go. I love it when people post things about which they know nothing.

From what I understand this is one fine kid. He has had obstacles to overcome and he came out on top. Best of luck to this young man and I hope he continues with his career after highschool.

I am not saying he is a bad egg! I was just asking what is up with the kid! I hope he is a good kid because he looks like a wonderfull player
