NKY Rankings : Pre-Season

Not when you have something else to compare it too....Like I said I think HHS and Beechwood look the best from what I have personally witnessed...:thumb:

I agree with that so if that is all we're arguing than I guess we're done here. :D :thumb:

If I'm not mistaken I put them one and two on my list also.:D

there is a lot of talk about Campbell County. While admittedly knowing considerably less about NKY bigger schools, I was under the impression that they lost their biggest assets on offense... do they have a lot stored away somewhere or what?

I think Campbell always has alot stored away. I think they just need to figure out how to keep them focused. There is alot of talent that passes thru Campbell County. They just need to keep them committed and focused for four years.

They lost Bradon Griffin at WR. But they have a couple starters at WR back and a couple new ones that look pretty good. I think they are stronger at RB also. They could be very fun to watch, we'll find out.

I think it is funny that the loss of Griffin is being just brushed aside... I understand that they have a couple of good receivers back, but didn't this kid set multiple state records in the receptions and yardage categories?

Are you serious Lloyd above Cov Cath?

Highlands

Bwood

Dixie

Boone

Ryle

New Cath

I don't think anyone is brushing Griffin aside. I just think instead of having one goto guy they have quite a few this year. This team has worked very hard in the weight room & on the field.

I've read the top 10's throughout the thread and I have seen Lloyd is above alot of the more competitive programs. IMO, Lloyd will be a competitive program this yr. but not quit what people are making them out to be.

I have also read that only 1 person on this thread is giving HC a chance. What's up with that? I'm curious.

HC is kind of rebuilding this year and play in a somewhat difficult district

Wow, when was the last time that there was COMPLETE consenus about the top preseason team in NKY??? I don't hear any people speculating that a team other than Highlands is tops in NKY right now.

It's also interesting that the year such consensus exists about HHS (2007) follows a year that saw TWO NKY teams win state championships and saw HHS getting booted from the playoffs in round 2.

Not only the loss of Griffin but also Brown (QB) would be a concern. Maybe they feel good about the guys in those positions, but they are still not battle tested under the lights. Those two guys really stepped it up for the Camels last year!!!

Which is why I posted what I did. I am not sold on CC being a top ten team yet either. Will they be? Probably, but before the results of week one come in you won't hear me saying so.:D

Bonus question - Can anybody tell me which team is grasping air behind the red jersey with the ball in my avatar? :D

The decal-less helmets hint at maybe a scrimmage game before the season. Also the gold pants are a trademark of some team in NKY. I just can't put my finger on it though.
