NKY Rankings : Pre-Season

I think it is funny that the loss of Griffin is being just brushed aside... I understand that they have a couple of good receivers back, but didn't this kid set multiple state records in the receptions and yardage categories?

Agreed. Last Year Griffin set multiple records at the state level. Last year i think the Camels had 3 quality recievers. From what i've been hearing is they have 5-6 that are some of the best in NKY. I have also been hearing good things about the Rose kid. I think he will be a tough one to stop this year. AND of course the CAMEL DEFENSE. One of the best defenses around. Great solid players on both side of the ball

That is debatable my friend, I remember a slightly different score.:D

If the game was the one played at Beechwood last year just look up the Guru's old post where he (once again) took the Red Colonels to task for jumping out to a lead and then going south big time in a hurry. Oh wait that was stirring up good high school football debate as he often reminds me.:D

Which is why I posted what I did. I am not sold on CC being a top ten team yet either. Will they be? Probably, but before the results of week one come in you won't hear me saying so.:D

Bonus question - Can anybody tell me which team is grasping air behind the red jersey with the ball in my avatar? :D

Looks like NCC, last year's scrimmage at CovCath

Actually you were right on the location, but it was from a few years ago.:D

I'm interested to see how the camels pan out. Maybe the camels have some talented recievers this year, but none will be as dominate as the Griffin kid. On the other hand if they do have several talented recievers we might see an even more potent passing attack than last year with the camels being able to spread around the production. I also thought Rose was a good ball carrier but he got most of his yards due to the fact that defenses had to play pass before run. If the camels can't get a dominate passing game going like last year i see defenses stopping Rose and making it a long season for the camels. Oh, the preseason...:jump:

Kidwell throws the ball better than Brown did. Brown was a hard nose good player who could also run the ball. Griffin made Brown look a little better than he was, but he would have made any QB look better. Rose is not the same Rose as last year, this is his little brother, Grant. He got some carries last year. A little quicker and faster than Zack was. Lets hope he also holds onto the ball a little better also:D Sorry Zack.
