Torn ACL. Irons is done for the year...

Just awful news. Eerily reminiscent of Ki Jana Carter. Here's to a speedy and complete recovery for Irons.

Ki Jana? Let's be more current in our comparison. How about Chris Perry?:D

Both Ki Jana and Kenny were injured in their 1st preseason game against the Detroit Lions their rookie year. That's what is so eerily reminiscent.

Yes, and I think KiJana's was on the 3rd play and Kenny's was on the 4th.

De twa is a cess pool that is cursing our Bengals. Blow it up !!!!!

I was not impressed with either Doug Johnson or the pass defense. Based just on this game, Rowe becomes backup and Johnson moves to #3. The secondary and the DL both had good moments during pass plays, but they never seemed to occur at the same time. At one point the Detroit QB stood back there forever looking for a receiver. Good coverage, lousey pass rush. There also seemed to be a lot of blown coverages.

Graham, I'm not worried about. I know it was an inside stadium, but he still looked good on KOs and FGs. The miss at the end of the game was no biggie. Hey, its preseason!

I was also impressed with Chris Henry. He caught some passes that he would have dropped in the past.

Green did a great job as returner. He seems to make intelligent decisions during his returns.

Doug Johnson was brutal, I liked what I saw out of S Green as a returner. First unit D didn't look too bad but the pass defense is still a major issue.

I'm convinced this city is VERY stupid. Sports talk radio, when they start taking calls, is brutal.

A. This city has so many backwards-rump sports' fans it is sometimes really tough to stomach.

B. Ironic since those morons hosting Sports' talk radio are the reason that much of the nonsense perpetuated by the average fans even exist.

Listening to 1530 this morning. Are Cincy football fans really as dumb as Cincy baseball fans? There have been a number of callers that have said, "Same old Bengals" or "Can Shayne Graham make a big kick?" Good lord people...

Those are people that just want to hear themselves on the radio. When the regular season starts and we are in the hunt for the playoffs... they will jump on the bandwagon again.
