That says soooo much. :p

It says that UK beat all three last year, two by double digits, and now we have a much better coach and are getting much better players.

I'd definitely have UL, UT and IU a notch above UK in projecting something like this right now...

Right now, but not in 5 years. I think UK pulls away from that pack by then.

Having a much better game coach is still a long way from being proven...

UL and IU are recruiting as well, if not better than UK. UT is a little below but are finding system talents that will keep them in the mix for at least the next 5 years as long as Pearl stays put. There is nothing that shows UK separating from this group of four in that time frame...

Woooow now killer. Better coach I wouldn't say that. Better recruiter yes no question.

So it's an accident he's been hugely successful everywhere he's been, starting from worse than scratch, with a fraction of the resources he has at Kentucky??? Billy Clyde will win HUGE at UK. Tough times comin' for UK haters.

That's just it. I don't see Pitino hanging around until he's old and gray, and I look for Pearl to eventually go for a more prestigious program. UT is better with him, but I think he'll go for something else while he's a hot commodity. I look for UT to end up in the same situation in basketball behind UK and Florida as UK is in football with Florida and UT.

Hugely successful come you can't be serious. We fired a coach that accomplished 10 times what Billy G has.

UK just beat all three with one of their poorer teams in quite awhile...and have been beating all 3 programs like a drum over the past several years. UL, UT and IU have to actually catch up with UK before we can talk about UK separating from them...

Billy G built programs from scratch...Tubby took over UK at the VERY TOP and

left us in the worst shape since probation...

And what did Billy G get out of that a sweet 16 give me a break. I like him and I am glad he is here but to say he has been hugely successful is a joke.

The good news is you will get to sit back and see the difference between BCG's teams and Tubbyball real soon. Already smoking him in recruiting...

Coach K = Hugely Successful

Coach Knight = Hugely Successful

Coach Rupp = Hugely Successful

Coach Smith = Hugely Successful

Coach Bill Gill = Not So Much

Check the attitude at the door amigo. I was the first one anywhere to say he is the perfect guy for the job. However he is still new to the national stage, he's yet to advance past the Sweet 16 and he also has a roster that needs some more work to reach title contender status.

One big factor working against him on the recruiting trail (he lost Zeller, Jennings, Czyz and it's not looking good on the other bigs he targeted) is that while he is rock solid in the Texas area he does not have great connections nation wide on the AAU circuit. Will he develop them? No question, but it's going to take some time. That's a hurdle that doesn't have to be crossed at UL and IU, and Pearl has a two year head start at UT. In a five year window UK sits 4th in this group evaluating things as they stand right now. You can be a homer all you want, but those are the facts... :p
