August 5, 200719 yr He could just be normal. Do you work for Baroid? He has hit 45+ homers 6 times....5 of those coming when he was 36 or older. That sounds normal to me. I wonder if the human asterik will be there when A Rod breaks his record.
August 5, 200719 yr Here's an interesting tidbit I happend to come across. An interesting fact occurred to me today after noticing Barry Bonds cranked #755 off Clay Hensley. Hensley tested positive for performance enhancers back in April of 2005. Seems more fitting than if Bonds had nailed one off Greg Maddux. Sometimes we forget the little people busted for performance enhancers. Fortunately Baseball's Steroid Era is keeping track. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/

August 5, 200719 yr The Bonds on the left was on his way to being one of the best players to ever play this great game :thumb: ..............The one on the right is a disgrace to this great game :irked: .
August 5, 200719 yr No, I don't work for Baroid. I am just happy to see the greatest home run hitter of all time. I thought that Hank Aaron was absent from the game last night. :D
August 5, 200719 yr Greatest baseball player to ever play the game! He very well could have been, Imo he is now the Greatest Fraud to Ever Play the Game.
August 5, 200719 yr Now post the same side by side pics of Griffey Jr then and now. I would venture to say that Jr. has undergone similar physical changes over his career. Don't get me wrong, I can't stand Barry and I hate to see him break the record. But like him or not, you have to in some small way respect what he's done on the field even if he is one of the all-time biggest jerks off the field.

If it was the Barry on the left then yes I would congrat him on whatever record he would have broke in his career, but he went from a a great hitter, to a great cheat!
August 5, 200719 yr I'll say once again, when it is PROVEN that Barry Bonds KNOWINGLY took steroids, you all will have something to complain about. Until that time, keep sipping on your Barry Haterade, and he'll keep adding to HIS record....:ylsuper:

August 5, 200719 yr I see the photos, of Bonds almost 20 years apart and now, he looks more like his father Bobby Bonds....Is he being suspected also. I can't think of any current or former "power style" MLB players, who played 20 years and retired with the same body structure, they entered into. Clemens, Nolan Ryan, Pete Rose, Hank Aaron, Ricky Henderson, A-Rod, Dwight Gooden, Griffey Jr, and on....They change over time. I'm no expert on enhancements but don't they only increase muscle, that is being trained and not build ripped, muscular and toned bodies. Did Bonds work out and get those shoulders. Perhaps he has taken only legal supplements, vitamins, hard work to achieve his upper body physique and perhaps, he has used illegal substances. I wonder how many of the sellout crowds, who claim to boo Bonds, had the cameras flashing and a heartfelt grin on their face, when he embraced his son, after hitting 755....I know I did and shared it, with my son. We have the freedom to form our own conclusions on Bonds, did he or didn't he and until proven he's taken enhancements, other than knee cream and until proven, that enhancements help you hit 755 HR's....I'll say well done.
August 5, 200719 yr I'm the same way. Course I have spent most of my time eating chips, pizza, soda, hot dogs and cheeseburgers 7 days a week.   You are on the same workout regiment that I am. Does this mean that we are world class athletes??

As far as proven, jmo but I beleieve that there are enough statments, evidence, people close to him investigated and in jail to provide proof. If anyone is waiting on Balco Barry Pumpkin Head to admit use - don't hold your breath unless blue is your favorite color. (and U.K. blue is mine) 2. As far as Knowingly, let me ask anyone - do you know what you put into your own body and what does not go into it? That I didn't know junk is laughable and the biggest joke of anything out there. If someone sticks a needle in my body I am for dang sure going to know what's in it . Same with anything that goes in my body or on it. I will say that roids does not create or imrove hand/eye coordination - one of if not the main componet that it takes to hit a baseball. I will say that strength would imo improve bat speed and that also goes into it and the roids definately helps improve strength ad these factors would improve distance. Or is someone going to come out and deny that  ? I have already spent/wasted too much time posting on yet another Bonds thread so I will leave it at that.
