98NCCalum
I was there for the Wildcats (A) first game yesterday but had to leave before the second, they scored 5 in the top of the 7th to erase a 3 run deficit, got a 1-2-3 bottom of 7 and won 8-6. CONGRATS!

Uncle Charlie
we host a tournament in Ludlow every year. The Rockets won it all in '06. They're like little professionals.

gametime
I still have vivid memories of winning the title on Crosley Field in Blue Ash. Congrats to the locals that kept the NKY tradition going...

83birds
Will all the Rockets go to Highlands? A buddy of mine has kids on the team and they seem to always win Who knows where they will all end up. I will say that for a group of 8 and 9 year old kids they are pretty good. Over the last three years they went undefeated in coach pitch, 28-5 as a D-1 team and 29-3 this year. In the final two games on Tuesday night there was not one error committed in the game and that is pretty incredible. Hats off to the boys for a job well done. The team members are the following: Noah Billings, Brett Seiter, Patrick Henschen, Nick Kendall, Austin Neff, Josh Schneider, Mark Walkenhorst, Briley Seiter, Jared Dougherty, Hunter Henschen, Ben Seiter and Ben Weyer. I believe last year the Rockets only lost 2 games to D1 competiton. They play in District 22 where D1 and D2 are combined...:thumb:

Great job boys. Continue building your skills and developing as baseball players and athletes. A big KUDOS to Jared Dougherty. I heard he played through an injury and at times pain. Get healthy you have a great career ahead of you!
Qryche11
There are some dynamite 4th and 5th grade baseball players in Ft. Thomas at the present time. Throw in the C level (5th grders) Bellevue Hurricane team that consists of several Ft Thomas boys and recently won a huge tourney in Indiana and who also made it pretty far in the City tournament before losing by a run to a very good Taylor mill team. The Birds should be very good in about 5 or 6 yrs. Congrats to the Rockets for making it to the finals and getting to play at Crosley.
