Trying to get a feel for some of the faster players in NKY. Post your teams fastest players along with size and position.

In central Kentucky at Franklin County our fastest is Deron Hicks, 11th grader 6'0 165 4.5 speed via the last combine he attended.

Few can compare to that young man. :thumb:

Josh Montooth of Ludlow runs in the 4.4 or 4.5 area. He mainly just returns kicks though. Coach Borchers would love to get him on the field for O and D.

John Cole from Southern KY (Somerset) was timed at 4.4 flat 3 times, at Stanford University's camp this summer.

TURN THE MONGOOSE LOOSE !!!! Best of luck to Josh in the upcoming season! The former Bluebird Frosh star is a real PLA-YAH !!

HHS doesn't "clock" their players...but Cecil, Hurtt, Conner, Crawford, Collinsworth all look plenty fast! Not many can catch 'em when they get loose!

What positions are they? And is that any relation to the former Bengal Chris Collinsworth?

Cecil is QB... the others are running backs. Yes, Austin Collinsworth is the son of the former Bengal. I'd like to see him at a wide out this year and move to the backfield in the following years...but I AIN'T the coach! Right now, he's probably better on D. Great instincts, (duh!), and a great kid!

For Danville(and I know they aren't a NKY team-sorry), the fastest in my opinion would be Tyrell Johnson(sr/rb) and incoming freshmen Cody Taylor(rb/db)...they can flat fly........

Winston Guy from Lexington Catholic was clocked at a 4.35 at a combine in Cincinnati. Oba Wilson, also from Lexington Catholic was clocked at 4.39 at the same combine.

Roger Herthel from Lloyd Memorial ran 2 4.5's at UK camp.... After 3 practices that same day.

He'll be a junior this year. About 6-0 170.

Hey Juggs , how about " the rocket " did he play beyond high school ?

no..the 2 players from Lexington Catholic were both recorded at faster times.
