Yesturday Post 76's Junior Team WON the State Title for the Junior Legion Tournment in Owensboro, Ky. The TEAM went thru the Field UNDEFEATED with what started out the year as a good roster of about 18 to 20 Quality Players from the area but ended as 11 or 12 players who really wanted to play the GAME!!!!!!!!!Paul Lewis put together this TEAM as well as the older LEGION TEAM which he also Manages/Coaches. I think his efforts has finally paid off with this STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think this is the 1st in HISTORY and one well deserved!!!!!!!! :flame:

Thanks gametime

Actually --- the only ones that couldn`t make it because of football were at the state tournament afterall. John Scott Carver was at the entire tournament and Eric Craft missed the first two games and the after Fridays` practice he and his father got up early Saturday morning and drove to owensboro Before the game on saturday. Nice team effort by the two football players. they played well.

I know Rob personally and he's all about the kids. Great job Rob and gang, now if you could only get some love from the local paper!

The age group for Jr. legion teams is 17 and under.

Great job proving how deep the 16th region is in baseball.
